There was always something unfolding around the old plane tree (“platan” in Czech) that I could see from my apartment window. Over the course of three years, I gathered photographs of various moments and scenes that played out there. I printed these images at passport size and placed them into wider shots of the same spot—often taken in a different season. For the “Home” assignment in our CVAK photo community, this evolved into a series of juxtapositions, showing how much life can pass through a place that seems still at first.
